Political Science is New Zealand’s professional political science journal. It has been published by the Political Science Programme at Victoria University of Wellington since 1948 and has been associated with the New Zealand Political Studies Association since its inception. It presents original, peer reviewed, high quality scholarship from a range of methodogical and theoretical perspectives, particularly but not limited to those with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
The journal is included in the ISI Political Science JCR, has a 2011 impact factor of 0.111 and a 2011 Ranking of 139/149 in Political Science (Source: 2011 Journal Citation Reports. Thomas Reuters, 2012).
